Gallimaufry is the web presence of Christine and Derrick Ashby, a couple of 50-something ex science fiction fans who have lived in the Melbourne suburb of Middle Park since 1979. That's Melbourne, Australia - not Melbourne, Fla., or Melbourne, Derbs.

We confess that this isn't the first web page in the world to be called Gallimaufry, but offer the excuse that Derrick produced a couple of issues of a fanzine called Gallimaufry in the mid-1970's, before the world wide web was heard of, so he claims prior ownership.
